  1. you got ripped off

  2. You just bought a *brand new Zippo* lighter, and you know that it is fully fueled, and the flint gives a good spray of sparks past the wick (which should be just a little ABOVE the wind protector chimney)?

Friend, unless Zippo has changed their design drastically from way, way back when their lighters were first put on the market, you should have *NO PROBLEM*!!  Uh, *WHAT*, exactly, type of lighter fluid did you dump into the fuel storage compartment?  That's the ONLY thing that I can think of that might be your problem. ?!?

  3. You may have over-saturated the wick with fuel.  Let it dry out over a period of time and see if it will light.  If not, send back to Zippo, they have life time guaranties.

  4. Change the wick maybe that will help.

  5. maybe its gods way of telling you to stop smoking
