Why does no IM client work with my mac?

Question

seriously i have tried every IM client, adium, mac messenger, mercury, aMSN.. ect

they all say there is something wrong with my internet connection, or something like that, i really want to use the new Microsoft messenger for mac, but that doesn't work

i have 2 macs, and the same problem applies for both, but msn works on my windows machine

i have a netgear router if this helps?

MSN is built into your Windows computer whereas you might've not installed it right to the Mac.
