Obama: Devoutly pro-choice. Voted against a bill in the Illinois state senate that would have required doctors to save the lives of babies who survived abortion procedures. The implication of this position is that babies born prematurely during abortions would be left alone, unnourished and unmedicated, until they died.

Palin: Devoutly pro-life. Exercised the choice proclaimed by liberals to bring to full term a baby that had been diagnosed in utero with Down Syndrome.

Well me as a hunter I dont shoot people for food.... I hunt to feed the family I dont do it for sport ... Many wolves are shot do to the over population and or being a menace to farm life etc....  I have yet to meet anyone that shoots polar bears!

One thing they do here in PA is also Bear hunt and yes many do it for sport( some eat it) but the population of bear has got so huge and over populated that they kill them off.... When you have an abundence of bear like that , they start coming into our farms and  places where we reside and start attacking  and destroying stuff.... You also have to  realize when they are over populated the food chain also becomes scarce for them.... I guess people just have to live the life to understand it!

I also care about how many lies have been told to us about Palin and her credibility in just a few days. I still do not understand why, when she was 8 months pregnant, dripping amniotic fluid while experiencing contractions while on business in Dallas Tx. she flew the10hrs back to Alaska. She did not even go to a doctor in Dallas to consult if it was safe to fly the long flight with the air pressure for her un born child. She did not even give birth in Anchorage but then drove 45-1 hour to her little local town to give birth to her son Trig (allegedly).

She was not the president of the PTA as reported. She was a member for just 2 years. MMMM 5 kids and you only pay for an 8$ member ship for 2years...Many PTA members do not even go to the once a month meetings.

I don't like that she does not see the importance of higher education. Her son, drop out daughter and her drop out boyfriend, are not going to college. She herself only attended a short time. That is a big problem in our country. Too many under educated people. They will believe anything that they see on TV and not research the truth. I'm not voting for McCain now. The thought of him dieing and her becoming president is scary.

I'll answer each of your topics and hopefully, you'll be a bit less ignorant.

First of all, there's NO possible way for you to know that Palin & her husband kill animals "purely for the thrill of it." I have many hunters in my family and several friends hunt as well. They all have the greatest respect for animals as I'm sure any legal hunter does. It provides food and is necessary to control animal over-population. You make them out to be wild-eyed killers shooting every animal in sight, which isn't the case for responsible hunters. Personally, I could never hunt or kill an animal, but I'm intelligent enough to realize it's necessary. Also, I'd much rather eat a venison steak provided by a deer that was killed quickly & humanely rather than a burger from McDonalds where the beef raised for their corporation comes from concentrated feed lots. If you don't know what a CFL is, I'll clue you in. Cattle are raised in feed lots packed in shoulder-to-shoulder where there's not even enough room to lie down, not that they would want to anyway as they stand in their own f***s usually about a foot high (thanks E. coli outbreaks). They're force fed huge amounts of food and pumped full of hormones to make them as fat as possible in the shortest possible time. They're then taken off to be slaughtered, not with a clean bullet or arrow shot that kills instantly, but rather a bolt to the head that sometimes knocks them out, often times does not, then it's off to have their throat slit, which can take some time before they actually die.

As for polar bears, I don't know enough about that issue to answer your rant. I do know she wanted to remove them from the endangered species list to pave the way for energy development, NOT for hunting.

Whaling is the means some people in Alaska make a living. Again, if it's done in a responsible manner, there's no harm.

How many people have you ever seen wearing a "wolf coat"? This is absolutely ridiculous. In the spirit of the Native Americans, if wolves are killed to control farm & animal nuisances, shouldn't their body be used to the maximum extent so as not to waste anything?
