there are so many animals that are dying because of us and people dont seem to care. and the people that do care are considered stupid or crazy and sometimes even jailed. i personally think the owners of major companies must be psychopaths if they feel no need to change how they manufacture or distribute their products even though they are the reason so many animals are dead. anyone else agree? any thoughts?

  1. ALOT OF US CARE, BUT WE CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. http://www.socyberty.com/Activism/First-...  UNTIL PEOPLE get groups together and get a salvage license and extract the sands of time that man has never touched and all treasures you find, your salvage license will let you keep and at the same time you'll be helping to delete global warming so all species wont become extinct.   HAVE A NICE DAY

  2. Yes, I have a response. Eat only organic veggies. Never use any kind of transportation which uses fuel. Never use rubber products. Never use any kind of plastic products. Never use any plywood products. Stop using the electronics in your home which are powered by fuels mined by those conglomerates, this means no more Internet...

Otherwise, shut your self-righteous, judgmental yap.

  3. because... the major problem... is the one we can't solve

over population is the key behind everything... pollution, global warming, war, disease

the ecosystem can only handle a certain population, however with science we are able to transfer nutrients and incease the carrying capacity of an ecosytem... well this only works for certain amount of time...

so unless you propose either massive huge gi-normous birth control laws.... or exterminating a couple billion people... most likely no matter what... we will always be killing animals.

However, I'm not saying its not our responsibility to fix this problem... just because we can't completely not destroy nature doesnt mean we can't limit our damage. We should all try help prevent our biospheres destruction... and this is were greed (its natural) and laziness takes over... I'm not saying this is easy, but you have to start off with a small leap to get things started, and I think we are  kinda of on the right track.

  4. I care about them.... Aren't you being a bit egotistical thinking you're the only one who cares about animals?

  5. Maybe we need to get rid of the animals that eat animals on the endangered species list

  6. The margin of error in estimates of species extinction during the Holocene (that's the geologic period in which we live) is roughly 99 percent.

Your premise that "so many animals are dying" is unprovable. Estimates range from 20,000 species of animals and plants that have become extinct to as many as 2 million, but the truth is that we really have no idea how many have become extinct, or why.

Industry in Europe and North America have undergone dramatic improvements in their emissions over the past several decades, so your notion that major companies "feel no need to change" is hogwash. They've been forced to change. Is it enough? Probably not.

The U.S. uses more oil than any other nation, roughly ten times what China burns annually, and yet China produces nearly as many tons of hydrocarbons annually as the U.S. does. Why? Because the Chinese impose no air or water quality standards on their industries at all.

  7. Humans are too self absorbed.  Our population levels keep rising and we continue to take more land from the animals.  Who do we think we are that we have the right to drive another species to extinction? What will happen when the earth can't support all of humanity?

  8. Usually it is because they do not want to know about the seriousness of it.  It is called callous disregard.

I could go on explaining this in more detail, but we humans tend to be highly egocentric, and when somebody else finds an issue to be a concern, people do not want their little fantasy world to be intruded upon or disrupted.

It is a lot like the lumber industry cutting down every tree until there are no trees.  The workers say we must continue cutting down trees or jobs will be lost.  Industry says that they can replace newly-planted trees to replace 500 year old trees and that is conservation.  Ecologists point out that the MINIMUM age for lumber trees is 500 years old, whereas paper pulp trees can be literally mowed down at 12 years of age, so lumbering must come to a stop because 85% of all old-growth timber in the world has already been cut down!

Why care about extinction of a bug?  Step on it!  We can fish all the fish out of the creek because Department of Forestry will re-plant them!  The commercial fisheries can continue to use fifteen-mile-long drag nets that destroy reefs and kill unwanted fish and animals because god will see to it that we will have enough fish to eat without our protecting them!  We can continue to build houses for exponentially-increasing human populations and who cares about those nuisance deer and bear and ducks and rabbits, THEY are out of control population wise because they live where we want to build for our future human population growth!

  9. i do and some people donte really care about what is going on they just care about them selves. how would they care if there whole family is endangerd maby they will care then...

  10. i think ppl dont care because it doesnt affect them directly if all the polar bears were to die. i think there is alot that could be done to stop the permenant damage being done to the place you have to live in, you childred have to live in, and your grandchildren. also, all alot of people only care about money and dont care about who they hurt in the process of getting their money. it doesnt make any sense to me that so many innocent creatures are dying, like you said, because of us.

  11. I love animals, and I want to help endangered animals

They are important, if they are gone they can't be alive anymore
