Why does no-one want to dine out?

If you are talking about the locals, it's because Italians eat a big lunch and take a couple of hours off for a nap. When they go back to work that afternoon they stay late because of the long lunch break. Italians usually get of work around 9 or 10 pm. So why dine out when it's late and you just got off work?

Its not that people don't want to dine out.  But let's face it....home cooking is a hella lot cheaper than going out.

Well they certainly drink out  

Wine bars are everywhere and Ohhh so good

Food is fab too!  (not like the stuff they serve here)

They will eat anywhere as long as it is good and wholesome.

i would love to dine in italy, iLOVE italian food. sadly ive never been lucky enough to go there so cant discuss it!
