I realize "noone" is not a word, I originally used the word nobody but Yahoo Answers said I went one character over.

  1. its like the joker said in batman: soldiers dying is part of the "plan", but when our kids in america are exposed to virtual violence, we have to stop it. we only care about what affects us directly, and it sucks.

  2. For many people, war is entirely dis-connected from their lives. It rarely happns on your doorstep. You rarely see any war action, hence the tough brutalities of far rarely impinge on our conscience. Many people assume that since YOU have made the decision to join the Army, Navy etc, it is ultimately your choice of lifestyle, and everything else associated with war is a direct consequence of your decision.

However, with video game violence, people assume that it induces "hatred and violence" into young impressionable minds. They believe it turns us into punching and killing machines.

Which of the above two reasonings sounds like complete bullsh(i)t to you, determines your stand on that question you posed.

  3. I dont encourage people to play violent video games nor do I join people who are busy protesting about it or playing them.

I dont encourage people who like to send others to fight wars, neither politicians, nor friends.  I wouldnt like to fight or be a civilian in such places, and I dont vote for politicians who support wars, nor Olympic hosts who are responsible for a lot of deaths in their own country.

  4. Because soldiers in the United States are heroes and looked up to by kids and adults alike. I guess they believe that in war that killing is necessary but it's not ok for kids to re-enact gang wars and stealing cars and morally wrong things. It is really good question though. People are always contradicting themselves. They have to find a scapegoat somewhere and out of someone or something. Look at all the stuff that Marilyn Manson and Eminem had to go through just for speaking their minds and exercising their freedom of speech.

  5. That is a completely immature question. Of course people care. Those who support the war care. Those who don't support it care. Everyone cares!

People get worried over video game violence for obvious reason. Violence leads to death, which, by the way, people care about.
