  1. As long as you do not close your browser, you will have access to Yahoo! Mail, even though you have closed the window/tabbed pane that contained the email page.

Also, there is a new feature that you can check when you sign in that allows you to be kept logged in to Yahoo! for an extended period of time.  Be sure that it is not checked.  (I have not used this feature yet.)

If you do not "Sign out", close all your browser windows, and/or reboot your machine, you will be kept signed on.  If you are using Yahoo! at work, be especially careful to Sign Out if you will be away from your PC for any period of time.

  2. you know what it is so funny. some users gets so angry as to why they have to enter the username and pw everytime but then there you are wants the other way around.

when you log in to mail - always make sure you have to sign out so that next time it will ask your info again
