my friend went out today and saw a dog nearly kill a bunny. then the owner tried to put the blaime on them. then there were bypassers who intervened. listening to her story- it was infuriating but at the same time i was kind of jealous in an odd way, why do these kinds of things never happen to me? never!

  1. Feel the same way, exactly. It's weird y'know. When I see all those people with exciting things happening all around them, I get real frustrated with myself and envy them. It's just how life goes, I think.

Until, I stopped caring. I stopped trying to be someone I ain't and became a 1st rate version of myself. I stopped caring that they had 'better' lives than I do. I didn't care, I did what I thought was fun for myself. I got friends I got people who would actually listen to a black sheep like me, I found people where I could belong. And frankly, I thought nothing of the ones I hated and envied. I was happy and content because I knew, deep in my heart that I'm unique, I'm special and none of them can be as free as I am be a 1st rate version of yourself than a 2nd rate version of somebody else.

    I don't care....

I made my life exciting for my own

I don't care what they think

What matters is what my own emotions feel for myself

    I don't care. ^_______^

    because I'm myself and I'm exciting :D

  2. Maybe your not listening to your true nature maybe your not in tune with your self. If excitement is what you really want you have to put yourself in the way of it. You want something to happen prove it go out and do something exciting and see if excitement doesnt just jump all over you.

  3. make exciting things happen to you. this situation isn't a great example of making something happen. but don't wait for things. let you be the exciting thing that people wait for.

  4. A caveman finds excitement in a fire, a modern day man finds excitement in alien lights, an alien finds excitment in nothing for veerything is known and common.

Basically when everything seems dull you need to "lower your standards" to see excitement in everything.

When you look close enough you can appreciate even breathing, and when you think enough you can find excitement in a blade of grass growing on a lawn.

As for the excitement you wanted in your question I reccomend doing something to gain such excitement possibly... going to the zoo, lather yourself in some kind of peanut butter and jump the fence to the meerkat exhibit, that should be exciting. :)

  5. c'mon don't give up you're not dead yet!

  6. The situation sounded serious and you might be glad you were not directly involved in any of it, I mean the dog jumping at you instead of the bunny. Poor bunny! Hope it was ok after the run-in.

I say this sincerely, maybe you might bring more excitement into your life by having a couple of cats and dogs for company. I'm sure they'd give you lots to keep you busy and you could even join a special Pet Club or something and meet others for exciting "shows" of pets, etc. It's something I used to do and I came away with many funny stories too.

    Just my thoughts.

  7. maybe its not what happens, maybe your just boring and not exciting.

ever wondered to change your perspective, honestly a dog killing a bunny isn't that exciting.

be more observant and perspicacious, youd be surprised by changing your outlook how things can change

  8. when 'exciting' things happen to you, you may not take note of it, because it is just life. but when interesting things happen to others, that's when you take notice.

    make your own excitement.

by the way, "why does nothing", is bad grammar. it's "why doesn't anything".

  9. actually, you are in there. seeing this makes you a part of it.be thankful enough you are not the one being bitten by the dog. what is exciting to you.We have different kind of perception about exciting and being excited. Mine may not be yours. Trully too see a dog really pounce the bunny will excite me. I am waiting the reaction of that rabbit to that dog and more so. How people just try to save the animals instead of each other guts....

  10. If you want action, challenges, excitement, variety, and be on the go all the time, I know just the one who will make your life so full, you won't time for squat.  And you will feel so good about "you"!

There is never a dull moment in my house and it is all because of God!

  11. Be careful,  Child!  Wishes have a way of turning true sometimes in a distorted manner.  No one knows what turn life may take even when you seem to be walking a narrow straight right path.

'Exciting'  has a different meaning for different people.  You friend's way of narrating may have made it more exciting than the actual event.  Another person might have found it horrifying and moved away from the scene...

  12. it's all depends your outlook on life.[:

  13. look at how you live your life. if you are always on the move, you do some crazy things, and you submerge yourself deeply  to your society then there would be a greater possibility for you to experience these "exciting events".

it would be nice to share these "exciting events" to friends but at the same time you should always be cautious. living in the edge is not overly beneficial to a person.

maybe you can also change your lifestyle.. if you find it boring..like you know, go scuba diving in dangerous places(if you find that exciting), go hike mt. everest and even go to iraq..

or you can just practically wait... exciting things happen to everyone...just be patient.

  14. Perhaps you could start a cult that worships bunnies??
