  1. Rats are Vermon mte they shouldnt like bathing they are used to eating junk etc.

  2. It's probable that they just have different personalities, rats are very complex creatures, ya know! And to calm down your albino, since it's still little try to be extra gentle with it, and put some treats on your hand and present it to your albino baby. She should voluntarily climb onto your hand and when she does that, just gradually start petting her every so often and your friendship should bloom! Hope this helped!

  3. Simple, they area all different. It is the same with dogs, some LOVE the water, and others are like cats when it comes to baths ;)

Rats are not swimmers. They -can- swim, but they do not instinctively -want- to be in water. Water itself can be a terrifying thing to them. It feels very strange and different. You can see how easily something so unusual can freak an animal out that has never encountered it befiore. They think that they might not be able to defend themselves if anything were to go wrong (like drowning) so they try desperately to escape.

Honestly, you never need to bathe your rats. They clean themselves as much as cats do. Bathing them strips their skin of natural oils, and it is those oils that actually help keep them clean. Dry skin would not be so self-cleaning.

I suggest since there is no purpose that you do not bathe the ones that don't like it. It just stresses them out for no real reason. You can still let the other one play in water since it's fun for him though. Maybe give them a dish to waddle through, and the other two might grow interested in it after they see the other one playing in it.

  4. Well to answer your question, all animals, including rats, have a different personality. So the 7 month old could just love the feel and sense of water. On the other hand the baby is probably scared and/or just doesn't like it.

You said "Is there anything to claw them?" What do you mean? Like hurt them back?

    No there certaintly isn't.

Hope your baby learns taking a bath is no biggie!  :)

  5. When you bath your baby albino rat maybe  feed it yogurt drops, this might calm your rat down.  =D
