I went to Mexico City 2 years ago and from my point of view, technology seems so g*y. Why does everything look crusty? I don't see no Sony Erickson cell phone in a store in Mexico City. I'm thinking of going back there and staying for a long time but I want to pick up a blu-ray player there. Will that be possible?

  1. Where did you go shoppin?

I am from mex city and im afraid you went to the worng place,, just go to "Centro comercial Santa Fe" ,,,  "Perisur",, go to any "Liverpool" or "Palacio de Hierro" youll find whatever you find in Bestbuy and american mallls,,, and dont expect just becuase mexican pesos are cheap u;ll spend less,, you can go poor in those malls in one day

  2. It will cost less to get a blu-ray here in the U.S and depends how much longer they will keep making them. I heard something about they might not be making too many more because they are not selling well. But they do have many phones there just not as much as here. Sony is very popular brand in Mexico.  They also have a Sears there at the mall, forgot the name but you can see it from the Autopista. There are many of stores and places in Mexico City to buy electronics but more expensive than in U.S.

  3. uhh....its a third world contry...everything is behind.

  4. May be you didn't visit the right store. I can assure you that I've got a Sony Erickson cell phone bought here in Mexico City.

Technology is expensive a lot more than in US but with money you can get it.

  5. Actually regarding cell phone they get it first, like the RIZR Z6 they got around the time T mobile was releasing the Z3 same with the Nokia 5300 Xpress Music.

And people there change their cell phones twice year.
