  1. Rush Limbaugh is simply reflecting the disdain many have for McCain. There was a lot of opposition to McCain even before he entered the presidential race this time. It is due to his voting record and some of the things he has done in cahoots with Democrats (amnesty for illegal aliens, for one) that stirs up questions of his allegiance to the Republican party. Those with conservative views should be alarmed by his history if they hold him accountable to their standards, as they should any candidate.

  2. Does Rush effect you personally?

If not, then don't make assumptions.

  3. I guess you missed the Super Tuesday coverage...McCain won big time.  The only people listening to Rush are those on the far right...and that's less than half of Republicans.

And if you'd been paying attenton for the last eight years, you'd know that the far right has never liked John McCain.  Rush tore him apart in 2000 also and has been tearing into him consistently ever since.  Nothing new there.

  4. Do you mean Rush the heavy metal band??  Just kidding.  But seriously, they don't call them Ditto Heads for nothing, so to answer your question - No, they can't make their own decisions.

  5. Well if McCain won, how could he have discouraged voters?

I'm not a fan by the way.

  6. If Mr. Limbaugh had any influence on voters, Mr. McCain would not be winning anything.  All of the radio talk show hosts are against McCain.  He still gets votes.

I am opposed to Mr. McCain.  I won't vote for him.  He is too liberal and has his name on lots of bad legislation.

  7. I lesten ro Rush, Bill, Micheal Savage, Rodger Hedgcock, Lars Larson, Sean Hanity...they do not make me make my choice.  I make my own choices.  They may like Mitt, only because they hate McCain.  Why they want that Flip-Flopper...the same term they used on John Kerry is beyond me.  Vote they YOU want...not the way your peers want!!

  8. These people would be called lemmings, can't think for themselves, all they do is follow.

  9. Most people whether Republican or Democrat are weak-minded.  The very same could be said of some Obama voters swayed by Oprah Winfrey.

  10. Of course I can make my own decisions.  I have not once heard a Limbaugh show.

OrangeEvil:  you call yourself a Libertarian?  Ha!  An insult to Libertarians everywhere.  Keep lapping up what you see on the "news" and cast your vote for the flip-flopping McCain.  "Straight-talking"?  Yeah.  Keep buying it.  He's a DC lifer that will bring the same old cr*p to the White House, on the off chance he makes it there.

  11. Is this any different from a movie actor endorsing a candidate, or, for that matter, endorsing a make of car or hair products?  How about Caroline Kennedy, whom most people haven't thought about since 1963, coming out to endorse... was it Obama or Clinton? Whichever, what's the point of having someone "famous" endorse a candidate, car, restaurant, whatever it is, if not to persuade them to let the celebrity make their decision?

On the other hand, why do people limit themselves to just the candidates these people talk about?  How many people never bothered to learn anything real about Dennis Kucinich or Ron Paul, just because the media ignored them entirely? How many people even know Alan Keyes is on the ballot at all?  That, too, is letting someone else control the decision, by ruling out a potential choice without any real information.

  12. anyone who lets someone else make a decision for them, in my opinion, is a fool.  use the brain in your head people.

  13. Romney has repented for his left-wing sins as governor and has thrown himself on the altar of conservatism. They know he's a flip flopper, they know he's insincere in his beliefs, but they like that he's willing to talk about their hot-button issues and preach the conservative gospel. Switch to McCain who revels in being independent. Even though his beliefs are more consistent, and even though we know that he's more committed to his positions than Romney, the liar who mysteriously reversed all his earlier beliefs just in time to run for the election, they don't like him. He's the rogue candidate who goes off on his own too much. It doesn't matter how conservative he is or isn't.

If those morons had any sense, they'd go with the straight talking guy rather than the candidate who just tells them what they want to hear.
