I wondered this for years, until I came across the definition of

denial.  People will escape any and everything. People will see things the correct way when it is time. God's time not ours. Some people do not know what is real or not. Some are on a fantasy trip and others refuse to see things, much less as they are, they prefer to see what is comfortable. This comfort zone is not a good thing sometimes. Pain,....... who wants to feel  or feel pain?????  Some people don't know how, are what to feel unless they are told.  Your question is a very complex one, yet we can go there if we want to, or we can continue to play the game and cop out. I prefer to cope which rhymes with hope.  Nough said!

simply becoz truth not equally pleasant at all times. say for example wud u like to hear something bad happened to ur closest friend? wud u believe it the first time u hear it?

considering that truth is something pleasant, it is important to reveal it at the right time. situation has just as much influence over the reaction to a truth.

The truth is for people like Colin and Tempting is that grammar can be fixed. Fixing being a jerk is much harder... that goes much deeper. Somehow I don't think they'll like that truth, do you?

Hello

Well some people may have there own fixed ideas about the world and they don't want to change those views. So when nasty things like facts and the truth get in the way they get angry or ignore it.

Also to a large extent we are programmed by the media to be negative , so many people don't feel they have the right to be happy about anything .

However there are many people that are open-minded and willing to except new ideas.
