Why does people stop exchanging emails in the middle of a conversation?

In my case it's usually because their boyfriend gets in.

Either they don't really want to talk to you, or they've just had to leave quickly

2 reasons:

1. They don't want the conversation to end so they stop replying, so that you can continue the next day.

2. They disagree with something you said, or got bored/ annoyed and can't be bothered.
