Next time private caller comes up, try hanging up and dial * 69...I believe it will call back the number that called you...

It's probably a bill collector or telemarketer.

You can block all private callers by getting privacy manager put on your phone. That way the caller has to identify themselves before you have to accept the call.

There's a problem with this though...Doctor's offices etc will not return calls to phones with privacy manager. (especially if you are trying to reach a Dr after hours. Because they are going to want to call you without you getting their home number).

You can also call the phone company to see if you can find out who's calling you. But usually they won't give out that info. They can tell you if it was a 800 number but nothing else.

Or the BEST way to find out is to answer the phone.

Just answering it might work. If its someone you don't want to talk to say telemarketer or bill collector tell them to either stop calling or that you cant talk to them.

if that come up, who ever is caling has their number blocked so it will come up as private or annymous, no real way to locate the name and number, they do that so people do not call them back, it is gneneraly a company and it is ther way of getting around the Federal Do Not Call Listfor tellemarketsers, if their name and number does not ashow up you can't file a complaint i simpyl never asnswer calls who's numberi do not know, it could also be a simple as mis dial if it soes not happen all the time
