  1. It's just a nickname.  DR is notorious for their nicknames.  They call guys who's name is Ramon, Monchy.


  2. Almost everybody has a nickname in the Dominican Republic, and "coqui" is also a glue brand(hihihi), and "Socorro" is help.....
