Why does "preacherman" always like to scare people with...?

eternal h**l fire torture and then not answer simple questions on how that does not make God a bloodthirsty maniac torture monster worse that the devil himself?

God does not send people to h**l. They go there because they have sinned, and a holy, perfect God cannot be in the presence of sin. Only when we receive forgiveness through Jesus' death and resurrection can we enter into heaven with a holy God.

It's more of a warning than a scare....but it should scare you, to spend eternity in h**l...that's scary

If I tell you not to touch a hot stove because you will burn yourself, am I just trying to scare you?  If you ignore me, and touch it anyway despite my warnings and get badly burned.... isn't that your own fault?

If I tell you not to walk out into traffic because you will get hurt or die,  am I just trying to scare you or save you?

They do it because they are preaching about a God that is full of

vengeance and fear. They think they can frighten people into loving

God. They are wrong. God is our loving Father and wishes only the best of for us. He is not sitting in heaven breathing fire and brimstone

waiting to throw everyone into the 'eternal pit'.
