  1. Because he wants to land without injuring himself. I notice that Robbie is able to make jumps successfully that his dad never did. For example, Caesars Palace fountains...

  2. Well said Barry M.

Someone needs to tell Bubba Shubert that !

  3. Technology has alot to do with why Robbie uses a Honda and his Dad used a Harley...... Evel quoted one time: "Robbie can ride better and jump farther than i ever did, Because he learned from my mistakes".

A "Dirt Bike" is made for jumping(right off the show room floor), A "Street Bike" is not made for jumping....Anything.

    R.I.P.

    Evel

  4. well they really didnt have dirtbikes back then ,,, as far as the suspension you see on modern dirtbikes.  Eivel was a savage.

  5. good question. Evel said in an interview that he rode only Harleys! So his jumps should have been categorized as one who jumped the furthest on a Harley! Notice his son is not near as big a hero either. Long live Evel K!

  6. Better suspention.

On his bike, he has it set up to his weight, but his dad rode a "harley"

his is also much lighter so he is able to man handle it a lot better.

  7. because dirtbikes are easier to move around in the air un like harleys plus harleys arent made to jump no matter wat you do to them and the guys that said "somebody should tell bubba stewart that" can suck one bc he ( other than RC) he is the best racer out there
