Why does school have to start so early??

why cant it start at like 12:00 pm???

I'm not a morning person, so I feel your pain. But like others said, you start later, you stay later.

It could be worse - about 30 years ago, my ex-husband's school had a fire or some other kind of destruction one year. There was no way for them to find accommodations for all the displaced classes. The only alternative they came up with was to start school at 6am. He said it was a pain in the butt getting up early enough to make it to class, but it was "really cool" getting out of school at noon everyday.

I wouldn't mind starting school at like 9 pm, but 12 pm is waaaay too late to start.

We stay in school for nearly 7 hours, so I wouldn't be getting out school until like 7 at night!

I'd rather start at 8:30 in the morning, like I do now.

Because you have to have so many hours of schooling a day. I think it's like, 7 hours or something. If it started at 12:00, then you would have to go to school till 7. That would take away your whole evening and your chance to get your homework done and everything.

Maybe so you will have more time doing your homework the day you get it, and not having to wait the next morning.

Other than that... so you can hurry and graduate.

legally, you have to get in a certain amount of hours of school every week, and if it didnt start so early ,school would be taking over your whole day. its like around 6 hours, right? well if it starts at 12 it would end at 6, and parents would be mad. so would teachers, and nobody could do after school sports or activities.

so be grateful your waking up so early!!
