My mother sent me a package on June 16th from the states and I still have not received it. We shipped it through the USPS w/ priority mail and still no signs of my package yet. There is nothing that expensive in there but it means a lot to me. Is it normal for mail to take this long? If so why? If this is not normal what should I do since it is not trackable after leaving the states.

  1. It seems as if it's more likely to have been lost. With international tension nowadays, customs can take a long time. No, it shouldn't take that long and that's not normal. It could be nothing's wrong and it's just taking a long time but it's unlikely. You can try calling USPS and see if maybe they can see if it left the US and see if they can help you find it. They've dealth with situations like this a thousand times. Just call them and be calm, they hear people yelling all day. It may take a long time and require you answer a lot of questions that sound pointless but if you keep your cool then things go faster and they're more willing to help you. Good luck!
