everyone wants to make a profit.

Its how they stay rich and keep putting up more rides.

Because they are smart. They know that you can't bring food into the park, and buy selling you overpriced food, just to keep you from fainting, they can make quite a bit.

They have a lot of workers to get paid and the rides cost a lot of money to run. And on top of that the need to make profit.

Because it's all about the money these days...greed takes over. It sucks...it also sucks that it costs $11.50 to see a movie in the theatres where I live. Ridiculous!

All theme parks charge ridiculous prices for food. There is a lot of markup, and they get as much as they can out of people. It's kind of like charging $10 or higher to park a car at a theme park. It's pure profit for them.
