In your brain there are receptors called "cannabanoid receptors." These are the things that pick up the thc and cannabanoids in the marijuana giving you the high feeling. They are mainly located in the areas of the brain that give you HUNGER, and all of your senses. So when the thc is absorbed into your brain it makes you hungry because of the cannabanoid receptors picking up the thc and other chemicals of marijuana.
