  1. Cos there maybe pressure on them to quit school and work to earn money for the family...

  2. Well now Asia has one of the most successful continent in the world of having one of the best statistics of finishing school. I read it in a textbook. But in like during the war and before that, and sometimes now, kids sometimes had to quit because there family was very ill and had to take care of them, also they can't afford school or food, or also because they've got to help out their parents at work at the farm or at the market. I'm Vietnamese, but I don't live there I visit there a few times but my parents were they until the war.

Hope this info helps you out :-D

  3. !!!!!!MONEY!!!!!.its as simple as that, when the choise is food or school, food must come first. And it must really hurt as i have never seen a race of people such as the Vietnamese who take so much pride in education and educating there children.Maybe someone should ask where all the money donated to education by Australia England and the USA goes.

  4. Many vietnamese quit school because they know that their family is poor so they want to go out and make a living to feed their family, so thats why they quit school.

  5. yesssssssssssss

bcuz the things they have to learn r too dificult

the governvent think that they do these new stuffs and that will help the stutents

well now bcuz of that not much pass so they all quit

and they have the worst teacher in history(most of them)

i force stutents to have to go to them 4 tutors

    or else

they wont get a good grade

    or in other cases

the poor ppl dont have money and they cant give the teachers anything so the teachs just slack off on ther child n dont even care about them

    thats how thing goes

  6. Parents can't afford for their children to go to school. Most of children quit schools come from urban areas. People who live there don't see the future of their children. I don't blame them. They have to work hard to survive day by day.

  7. because school sux

  8. and also, Highschool or University graduated students without fluent foreign languages will earn the same incomes.

People recognise there is no difference between Highschool and University graduation, difference is found between many language spoken people and others

so bad the Vietnamese education is!

  9. This stuff called money. It can break a whole nation and 90% of the world's problems.

  10. Mostly because our parents are pressuring us to find an early job and earn money for the family to survive on most of the time. Some of the families in Vietnam don't have enough money to pay for it either.

  11. actually no, not all of them, some. I'm Vietnamese and my whole generation of people never quit school. but i guess it's because of pressure from family to get out early in life.

  12. Two words...Economic Pressure. It is very difficult for many poorer families to feed their children right now. Prices have risen astronomically in the past few years while wages (especially in the country-side) have lagged behind. My young nephew (12 yo) has just gotten his first after-school job, earning $13 a month which will be given to the family.

Since I do not communicate well in Vietnamese, I instructed my wife to tell him and his mother to always put school work first. I hope that they are able to do that in these rough times.

My own daughter (10 yo) dislikes school and has a private tutor to help her maintain her grades. She would probably love to quit except for the fact that her mother and I would beat her into the next dimension if she did. lol

If you are wondering why I don't just give my nephew money to help his family, the answer is that my wife's family is mostly poor and there are just two many of them to support.
