Why does so many young kids nowadays wear soooo much makeup!!!

seriously... what ever happen to natural beauty!!!

i just finished watching the Teen choice awards and most of the kids there were not even 18 and they cover themselves with tones of makeup (and inappropriate dresses for their age) ...its really sad to see.

anyone else here agrees with me? btw, i'm 27 years old and I don't even wear that much makeup!

i couldnt agree more.

i see young girls at my school who wear coral foundation, heavy black eyeliner on their bottom lids and so much lipgloss it could blind someone with their eyes closed. it just looks so disgusting, i dont get how they can walk out the door and think that they look good like that. of course everyone has a different opinion about what looks good and what doesnt, but that look is universally recognised as S****y!

its not even like they have bad skin either, usually its a few pimples and theyre pouring the entire contents of the foundation bottle onto their faces. it blows my mind. i only wear eyemakeup (mainly because foundation scares me, and i havent found a shade that matches my skintone), and to see these young girls piling on the makeup at such a young age seriously scares me.

well, i do agree with you to a certain extent

little 12 year olds that wear make up and stuff really do not need to, as they clearly are too young

but i understand why SOME teenagers, like myself wear it

i wear makeup simply because it makes me feel a bit better about how I'm looking and gives me that extra confidence which i like. if a little foundation helps my patchy skin look a little less patchy, then why shouldn't i wear it ? if a little eyeliner makes me feel like my eyes truly stand out, then what is wrong with that?

It annoys me when people with good, overall clean/clear face ask these questions. They are the ones who DON'T need to wear make-up because they look fine without it. People that don't like the way their skin is look to makeup to get rid of that problem, it gives them the extra bit of confidence they need, and there's nothing wrong with a bit of extra confidence every now and then.

yea...it strange to me me too when i was in elementary school, only 2 percent worried about make up and the rest of the girls worried about getting in trouble for not doing homework and losing games we would play, i cant imange walking into an elementry school  or junior high and seeing girls with makeup piled on their skin

haha i know my freind (well ex friend grrrrr) she got her first bare minerals kit a the the age of eleven. her mom put coverup on her at the age of 7 and its crazy! she has panic attacks if she goes in public without makeup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  she HAS to have her bare minerals. (powder, foundation, lish,concealer, mineral veil, bronzer, eyeliner, lipgloss brow c**p) its crazy. i wear blush eyeliner natural eyeshadow mascara and lipgloss.

They don't like how they look.

They think they can put make up on to look better.

Or they will wear make up for 1 week.

Then they get used to what they look like with make up.
