  1. they r called the libero......the liberos r only alowwed to pass the ball...or they can set it but they have to be behind the 10 foot line...this rule also applys to the liberos hitting and jumping...only behind the 10 foot line....

  2. not the setter but the other ppl got it right with libero

  3. Because there is at least one person on the team who is the libero they are backrow passers and they wear the different color jersey to show the ref that they are the libero and that they are not allowed to serve

  4. The people with the different colored shirts are the liberos. The setters wear the same colored jerseys as the whole team.

  5. he's called a libero, he's got certain restrictions on him, like he cant jump to hit a ball, unless his hand stays bellow the net, but mainly, he just goes in for your worst passer, usually the middles

  6. They are the libero and they have to wear a different colored jersey so they can be picked out easily from the rest of the team.

  7. There are six players on the volleyball court, and speaking of the 6-2 rotation, two setters, who also play right side hitter, two outside hitters, and two middles. There is a special person on the team called the libero (who wears the different colored jersey) and they are allowed to sub into the back row. Even though they may seem more special, all of the players on a team are equally important, and it wouldn't be possible to win without a team effort! Enjoy your volleyball! It rocks! :)

  8. it's the back row specialest...or libero! they just stay in the back row, and can sub in for anyone they want aslong as their in the back row. there's alot of rules that your going to have to learn...BUT GOOD LUCK! and have fun!

  9. The person with the different colored shirt is normally the libero. the libero is a special position for a defense oriented player. they can sub in and out for more than one player, and always play backrow. the purpose is allow a good defensive player to play more than just three rotations out of six, and increase the defense and rallies of games. The libero must also play by specific rules. Here is a link to the rules.

  10. The two setters on the court usually wear a different color, so their teammates can pick them out, while tracking the ball.
