Why does starbucks hot coffee suck?

starbucks is the best! they have the one and only best frappuccinos, the best latte and mocha and tea but their regular coffee sucks. it tastes burnt. now im enjoying mcdonalds coffee and it tastes so much better. why is that? i would even say mcdonalds has the best regular coffee around but then their new iced coffee s**+ t sucks too.

Everyone on here is absolutely wrong. Starbucks coffee tastes the way coffee is supposed to taste. Just because everyone that's answered likes the extremely weak flavorless coffee, like McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts, doesn't mean Starbucks or any other coffee shop burns their coffee. Starbucks and alot of local coffee shops only buy fair trade coffee's. That means they are paying fair market price to small local farmers in whatever region the coffee is from. And they don't use cheap beans, they usually brew 2 different blends everyday, so you have a choice to which kind of coffee you want. They have medium, bold, and extra bold beans depending on your taste. But if you don't like real coffee and like weak flavorless drek, then don't go to Starbucks or a local coffee shop where you'll get a good quality roast.
