why does Stephanie rice wear earings when swimming is a matter of hundredths of a second . i mean its a bit silly don't you think.

  1. she wears them coz she wants too!

    clearly they didn't slow her down any, 3 events, 3 gold medals!


  2. it might not make a difference for her. ive noticed that she isnt the only one who wears earrings in the pool. a lot of the female swimmers do.

  3. she won three gold medals so it did not make any difference

    so no it was not silly

  4. maybe thats how she trains and is comfortable and used to them so its no difference with them in for her?
