  1. Most Superbikes have 2 seats (with rear foot pegs etc). Its only the race versions of Superbikes that have only one seat.

However, some of them like the Ducati 999 came from the factory without the rear seat.

You also get a cowl which you can use to cover the rear seats for that race bike look or to use on track days.

  2. so that less people die?

  3. How many seats do you want???

  4. Because most racers are male and therefore don't need somewhere to keep their hand bag (possibly??)

    OR

Because they are engineered to be as light and fast as possible, and racers are usualy preferred that way too.

    BUT

I think you will find that some superbikes have a second seat purely for promotional purposes as I know Randy Mamola frequently takes people for laps to raise money for Charity on race days (this is at motogp - but I think he/others do similar at WSBK) I'm guessing you need pretty big cojones to get on the back of his bike!

  5. Bcoz onlee one can drive it and its engine heats up disturbing the pillion driver. Heat radiated will make the pillion driver to sit loose and while turnings u may fall

  6. superbikes are race bikes. most race cars only have one seat also.

  7. becoz we can drive singly without any disturbance from pillion rider who is afraid to go zooo....................................... &swooooooooooooosh in the road.

  8. there is a passenger pad that slips on most superbikes
