Why does swimming naked feel so good?

It is great!!....especially in the ocean and in the waves.  Nothing like having the water right against your skin....whole different sensation.....I was out of college in La Jolla,CA in the summer and water was reasonably warm.  We had a great frolic ;D  I would love to do it again!

Yea I have, just that I don't do it often around other people. I did it, and it felt so soothing around your body, if your a man, its a lot comfortable than wear shorts.

I'm had swam in naked before.The way just maked me feel comfortable and free while the cloth was free of the body.U can feel the water in this natural way.Sometime thing just good in the natural way.beside we do born in naked.

Things always feel better when done the right way, and for swimming the right way is, of course, naked.

As my ex-assistant coach used to say: "Alright, time to warm down. Feel the sensations of swimming, people. Let the water caress your most intimate curves. Allow it to permeate every nook and cranny. Become one with the pool. Use your bodies to tell the water your deepest, darkest secrets..." etc, etc, etc. Usually after a 3-400 warmdown he would still be jabbering on. Good times, good ppl.

We've done it in the ocean and in many pools.  

It's nice because when you get out you dry almost immediately, instead of having wet/clamming swim suits.   It's also easier to get the salt off of you when getting out of the ocean.

I love the feeling.  I swim naked all the time, 2-3 times a week.  My son love to swim naked too.  My neighbors put a staned glass window haning in the window that looks into my back yard from their stair.  They don't have to look at me naked any more.  I sunbath naked too.

Because everything feels good when your naked. So you would figure that swimming naked would feel way better than some stuff.

It is the only way I swim. I agree with most of these answers. It is the sensation of the water on your entire body without any material to restrict your movement or influence the natural feel of the water on your skin. It is great to get out of the water and not have wet material against your skin, just the air and the warm sunshine.

Yes, it does feel great. Last time back in June in Chandler, Ariz., friend's backyard pool.
