I love the cheesy gordita crunch.. and it seems they will have it for a while then take it off the menu for a while.. This has been going on since they introduced the item..

  1. gimmick, by taking it away they can bring it back and raise sales. Especially for people who like it. You can ask for it still I'm sure, they just don't advertise it on the menu. They save it as a promotional item, just like the McRib at Mcdonalds.

  2. They do this as a marketing tool, that way they can use it as promo item and attract customers....plus you keep coming to see if it back on menu

  3. I think its beacsue they want people to eat it and if they take it away for a while people will say "i love that what hapened to it?" and then wen it comes back the people will say "oh my gosh its bak lets eat!!" and it will make people want it more if they take it away sometimes.

  4. just so when it comes back a lot of people will buy it     just pure busiiness

  5. Maybe not many people like it

  6. Just marketing. Its my favorite thing on the menu...MMMM BAJA SAUCE!   And its never on the menu unless its specialy advertised. So I always ask for it anyway, and Ive never gotten turned down!

  7. It is a test marketing strategy. They test menu items in different areas to see how they do. Monitor how many each location sells.

You can have yourself and all your friends e-mail them all requesting it to be a regular menu item.

Maybe they still have it on the order computer and you just need to ask for it.
