  1. techno sounds good wit my subs so u msut hav bad subs cause it sounds badass wit mine

  2. I bet it's the box, what kind of box are they in?

A sealed enclosure makes for a tight controlled sound, a ported is more of a boomy sloppy type. For techno your going to want a sealed or a ported tuned for SQ, and not SPL. Most prebuilt ported boxes tend to lean more towards to loud boomy sound.

It is true that you can get good SQ from a ported box if it's tuned right. But in general, ported is SPL sealed is SQ.

Also big subs can be just as quick as small subs, you wanna look at your Thiele-Small Parameters.  Look at the BL, this is the magnetic strength of the motor, also the MMS which is the drivers effective mechanical mass. A low MMS with a large BL makes for a quick sub.

  3. you probly dont have a good subs that can keep up with the bass. or you amps prossecor is slow.
