Why does the 40gb ps3 not play some ps3 games?

i bought assassin's creed and it don't work properly and the same with sonic the hedgehog when it plays cut-scenes it freezes up

Try returning it and get another one.

its the game, that shouldn't happen, you have a problem

It maybe a problem with the game, try to get it back to the store and get a refund.

If your Ps3 plays games except for Assassins creed and Sonic and it can play other games, then it's definetly a problem with the game so get a refund.

But if your Ps3 is not playing any game, then your console is the problem. Ring up Sony and say its not working and they will send you a box and send your console to them. ( Hopefully you're still in warranty )

it's not the 40GB in general. it must just be your ps3. i would contact sony and see about getting it fixed or getting a free one if i were you.

i got ac and it doesnt do that ur ps3 is probably messed up or something
