From the lies on FOX news to 9/11. The lies are more blatant every day. It's ridiculous. And the gas issue, please, the government just wants to drill in Alaska. In a protected forest.

  1. Yes... FOX News is the only News outlet who spins the truth..... get real.

Ummm- if the government just wanted to drill in Alaska- why aren't we there yet?

I think the gov't thinks CERTAIN people are idiots and they may be right....

  2. I'm white I don't know anything but how to clean up and rebuilld if anyone else can grant me to premote the government through taxes and bad health to make up for anything that was not understood ?

  3. "We" elected George Bush to the Presidency. TWICE. We may not ALL be idiots, but enough of us are for the government to get away with a lot of c**p. Better start writing your Congressmen and hit the campaign trail for change, or you'll be making the same complaint after this November, too.

  4. Girlchild, sit back and grow up. People are against drilling in the US but lap up the foreign oil. What a crock!

Perhaps the gov't reads your posts and thinks you're indicative of the populace.

  5. All governments think they have all of the answers; that is exactly why the smaller the government is; the better life becomes for the citizens.

  6. Most liberals are...so if the shoe fits.....

  7. wait,so are you saying 9.11 was a lie?did you not watch the news that day??

  8. The Government doesn't want to drill in Alaska, and to be fair, the bigger oil companies aren't all that interested either.

There is a lobby group, "Arctic Power", and they are interested because they make money lobbying for that cause, and they were Bush election supporters, and the Bush Administration even appointed members of that lobby group to work for the Department of the Interior that oversees Federal lands.

The most important thing with ANWR is that some Republicans see it as a way to harness the anti-environmentalist vote, and there is a culture of anti-environmentalists out there.

The thing to ask people who reiterate this tired nonsense is "Why have oil companies only drilled less than 25% of the public lands they have been granted leases and permitted to drill on already? ".

There is currently Democratic legislation that can be summarized as "Drill it or lose it" that is more of a politically motivated legislation than anything, and it is the Democrats calling the bluff on this tired nonsense, and that legislation says if they don't drill on leases they have already been granted, then they lose the lease.

Of course they can only drill so much so fast, and of course they are more interested in drilling in places like Angola where extraction costs are about 4 bucks a barrel, but since Republicans never let facts stop them, I think it is a good political move that points out starkly that we are permitting drilling on federal land, and that much of what has been granted hasn't been developed.

  9. The answer to your first question: We are, indeed, since we continue to elect incompetent delegates to the Congress.

With respect to your phobia against Fox, either don't parrot that nonsense you say or at least change the channel. Then you can ask yourself: What is more important our society or Caribous? No forest there anyway.

  10. The government would like us all to be idiots. That's why we have government schools. All you have to do is read the Q and A in the political section here and see the results.

The government doesn't want to drill for oil. The American people want the oil companies to drill. Don't worry about ANWAR. If you take the time to look on a map and find out how little of it is primed for oil drilling compared to the rest of the area, you might change your mind. How many humans must die of starvation, freezing, or heat stroke? How many humans must lose their jobs and homes just to save a few caribou who are perfectly capable of avoiding the area?

    Get over it.

  11. They think we are idiots cause they have done everything in their power to make us idiots. The poor education system, the propaganda through manipulation of the mainstream media, and the evil acts performed to lead it's citizens astray and make them more vulnerable. The sad thing is, our government is right, the majority of us are idiots and will go on believing their insane propaganda until it is way too late to fight back.

  12. Wow, you just prove how some people are so gullible.  9/11 was a lie or an inside job?  I do not think so.  Was the 1993 World Trade Center bombing another lie?  How about the attack on the USS Cole in a neutral port?  Yes, we want to drill for oil in the Arctic where we have a right and it would do well for the wild life up there also.

  13. Because we keep electing incumbents.  Everyone thinks it is the other state's Reps and Sens that are bad but theirs are wonderful.  If everyone stopped reelecting incumbents and wrote a letter to the Rep and both their Senators every time this sh't happens we would soon see some changes made.

  14. Better keep mum, while the questio is about American Government.

  15. Not only does the government think people are idiots, so

does the media, the banks, the oil companies and your boss.

The government can lease ANWR to private oil companies

but that proly wont alleviate the crunch since we still live in a

capitalist country and the oil companies still have the right to

do what they want with the oil. THEY SAY WHERE IT GOES.

The barrels still go on the futures market and the specutlators

still get to bid on them for the highest price. ITS PRICE NOT

COSTS. It only costs the station operator and the consumer

at the pump. Everything else is determined by PRICE.

Public schools still teach this in high school civics class?

  16. Based upon your babbling, I would have to say that the government has ample proof that many Americans are idiots. Besides, if we continue to vote them in, aren't we in fact proving that we're all idiots?
