This is the ocean not a pool. It is in the Gulf of Mexico. The levels of the chemicals are tested daily and said to be normal and clean enough to swim in.

  1. any chlorinated water will affect people's skin. the more there is the more it itches. A bomb is when someone pees in pool and they dump chlorine in the pool. this usually causes hives in people with sensitive skin.

  2. my uncle lives in Corpus Christi, he says that sometimes there are jellyfish. maybe it has something to do with that.

  3. I live in Corpus and I think it is from all of the seaweed and the little pieces get caught in your bathing suit!

  4. Some people are more sensitive to the acidic level of the pool water, but water with a pH level of 7.2 or lower will make your skin itch because it is too basic and your skin likes stuff more neutral 7.4 to 7.6.  This won't hurt you but it will make you itch, just lotion up after you dry off.
