Why does the Fullmetal Alchemist manga only come out once a month?!

It's been coming out once a month since January 2001!

That's 7 years and 7 months of once-a-month-regularity.

Though I would be very very happy if you went and took this issue up with Hiromu Arakawa.

I'd be ecstatic! Once a month seems too little. Four times maybe...

Maybe she finds it a decent enough time to draw 40 something pages...

I'd be utterly insulted if it's only because of 'Monthly Shōnen Gangan' and production and blah blah... So I refuse to believe it is.

Either way, it's brilliant :D

Ah well. What to do...

At least onemanga.com has been nice enough to update regularly :)

it takes a while to translate and ship the books over and the ones on the internet it takes a while to translate

Because it doesn't make its money. All the Japanese kids have moved on to watching family guy.
