It says in REVELATION 1:7

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and

they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

  1. Jesus said his presence (Greek=parousia) would be known in part by the features of the sign he gave his disciples in Matthew 24:3-14.

Of course, one would hope you know much of Revelation is symbolic, according to Revelation 1:1. Which is good, because those who literally "pierced" Jesus are dead. However, since Jesus said the way people treat his brothers is considered the way they treat Jesus himself, those who pierce him can be those who persecute those who obey him, his brothers. (Matthew 25:34-46)

Every eye does "see" him in the sense that they see the events that declare his presence.

The eye of every true Christian sees him in the sense of understanding exactly what the events of our day mean, as related to bible prophecy.

    ADDED for RAZZLES:

I think you have confused the beliefs of Mormons (LDS)  and Jehovah's Witnesses.

  2. I come in here to show the sense and logic of neutrality between christians and non christians ... not to talk about cults .

  3. This 1914 "invisible" doctrine is not Biblical!

Acts 1:9-11...9After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

10They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11"Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

This shows that Jesus is to return the same way as He went, according to the two angels in the Book of Acts. The JW 94+ years of invisible return is not at all similar to His ascension, the JW false prophecy is totally unbiblical!!!

  4. Because they are a cult! Christ is God not an angel or whatever they are calling Him now.

  5. My great grandmother was a JW. She believed that a man in Utah saw Jesus and he was given the things that a JW now believes. My grandmother was a very strange person. She gave all her money, which is not much to these people. There were points in her life that she could not feed herself but she was able to give them money. They believe that Jesus is coming back and taking only a small number of people to Heaven. I forget the number.

  6. They made a mistake....oops I mean a false prophecy...They are doing a lot of backdancing now
