  1. Because new labour sucks. ANARCHY

  2. It,s much worse than that. All parties hate the poor that's why the differential between rich and poor increase every year.

There is a big demand for a workers party to rectify the imbalance which could easily put wright with increasing taxes on the wealthy and lifting the minimum wage.

The unions used to have some power many years ago to give leverage but the rich MPs introduced laws to reduce their powers. Now all parties are sponsored by industrial bribery.

  3. It doesn't but the scumbags who have taken over in the name of New Labour using Conservative policies certainly do.

  4. What country are you talking about?

In Australia, Labour is pro worker and pro unions.

They want to bring the working man up and up and tell the fat cats to find someone else to care.

  5. A couple of old sayings come to mind.  I'm alright jack and  a mans biggest enemy is a fellow worker.

  6. Asker (and Knowitall) are both wrong. New Labour neither hates nor despises the poor. WORSE--they're INDIFFERENT to them. What concerns this mob is how they LOOK, with respect to their handling of the Economy. That means the billionaires opinions DO matter to them, poor people dying on waiting lists or freezing to death DON'T.

Brown said: "A one-off payment to help with energy bills would be a short term gimmick."

Well, WHATEVER YOU PREFER TO CALL IT, GIVE IT TO US YOU TNUC.

  7. I don't believe they hate them, I think they just don't have a clue about ordinary people; about what it's like to live on a normal wage or benefits; or what it's like to live on a council estate.

It used to be that a lot of Labour politicians and had come up through the Trades Unions and knew about holding down a real job and living among real people.

Today we mostly have careerist politicians who have never even met anyone who is in a normal situation - other than in passing at some politican hand-shaking event.

Sadly, I can't see this changing any time soon

  8. Because they gave away too many of their core principles in order to wrest power back from the Tories after Thatcher's reign of terror.

They decided to meet their enemy on its own ground rather than make the effort to fight on their own territory.

And because their opposition is now so fragmented and ineffectual that they have become complacent about their tenure. It is a tragedy that such a great workers party has come to this.A tragedy for British workers that is.

  9. I thought they hated everyone.

  10. Because they have forgotton their roots and the reason why the Labour Party began - to protect the poor and safeguard their interests.  They will pay for it though.  They will never be trusted again!

  11. They don't hate poor people..

    ...They DESPISE poor people.

You can tell that in the way that they treat the poor with total disdain and contempt.

The poor are cash cows, just there for the milking in the way of taxes.

  12. Nu Labour does NOT hate poor people. This is evidenced by the fact that they keep increasing their numbers. lol
