Why does the MAC say wireless network is secured, but my HP says its unsecured ??

Question

My roommate's Mac identifies a wireless network, but she can't connect because it says she needs a password because it is secured. I've been bumming off of this same network for the past several months and am on it right now actually :) and as you can see...it's working! I've never needed a password. I have an hp.

I don't know anything about Macs so I don't know what to tell her. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I can "fix it"?

Maybe it's a different network? Or u have the network settings saved already on ur PC but not on the other PC (Mac or w/e).
