Why does the PS3's games suck?

Seriously! It's got the power. Only MGS4 and Resistance are the good ones, and the upcoming LittleBigPlanet. But why isn't the PS3 succeeding game-wise?

As a constant spectator of this arena, I have to say I do not agree with your view, opinion only.

People said it here, there are alot of games that make up the PS3's excellent games roster.

The PS3 has been blooming game-wise with collections of exclusive games sparking up. Developers that formerly refused to create games for the PS3 are now thinking twice because of its sudden success for past months.

You see, if you seek for the reason on how Microsoft gets exclusive:

its because Microsoft must pay them.

Behind all those exclusives for the Xbox 360, I am pretty much 99% sure, that Microsoft and the developer are BOUND in a contract. (Well if Microsoft doesnt get more milk from its Vista, it MIGHT be bye-bye to 360 exclusives, ;D research it for yourself, piece together the news).

If you think about it Gears of War and Halo 3 are released by Microsoft Games Studios, I dont expect them to turnaround. I will just bet for MAG.

Mostly because it's very expensive, meaning little investment. Even then to get games you have to pay a quarter of the price of the PS3 to get them. And it's graphics are to top gauge for most of the screens out.

Because of these factors no ones investing so not many games are being produced and usually only 1 out of 30 games released are ever worth playing

Generally it's to far ahead for the regular to use. I wouldn't be suprised if there was a boom in the next 3 to 5 years

Just because you don't like games in a certain genre doesn't mean they aren't good. There are plenty of great games for the PS3.

@evan: It would be good if you had a basic understanding of how Sony makes money before posting a comment like that. You obviously know nothing about it, and are just speculating. Sony LOSES money on each console sold. They know that, and have planned for that. Sony makes money on games, not the console itself. Therefore, your comment makes absolutely no sense.

And Sony doesn't pay companies to make games. They have many first party studios that make games exclusive to the PS3, and other developers are making games to profit for themselves.
