Why does the Sci-Fi Channel Show Wrestling?

Question

Why do they alienate their viewers with this stuff?

Come to think of it, do they actually think that all of the horror stuff they show is sci-fi?

The first one that says "you can always change the channel" gets a thumbs down! (I paid for a "sci-fi channel," so that's what I want)

Does anyone anywhere even know what science fiction is?

My video store doesn't even have 2001 in it's sci fi section... it's in drama.

Apollo 13 is in the science fiction section, and its a historical movie.

Personally, I think science fiction is a lost art. People don't even know who Clarke, or Heinlein of Sturgeon are. They think Star Trek is Science Fiction, when it's really what used to be called space opera.

As for the sci fi channel, that's a joke. Between the terrible monster movies they produce, the wrestling and the ghost hunters, every once in a great while something akin to science fiction appears.

Being a science fiction fan in these times is rather like being a person who doesn't need a video to enjoy a song. It's a beast  rarer than bigfoot.

ok i know y it is because ecw almost got cancelled so ecw went to sc fi to stty on the air and who cares
