Why does the U.S. alaways ally with weak countries?

The U.S. should ally with Russia, they seriously get some together.

The US isn't allied with Georgia.  But you're a little bit arrogant assuming countries like the UK, Australia, and Germany weak

cause the striong ones hate us...lol.... the uk and isreal are pretty strong.....S.A.S is uk special forces there ****** hardcore as h**l probably tougher then the navy seals......and isreali commandos are the toughest period

They are not always weak  - the UK, Japan, Australia, etc are allies and are strong!  We support decent people & democracies world-wide - including Georgia

I don't mind having some weak countries as allies, as long as they don't start wars with Russia and then expect us to bail them out.

We ally ourselves with any country that wishes to have a working democracy. Russia, North Korea, and China believe in a different systems of government that most democratic people view as "evil". Not all of our allies are weak, UK, Aust., and japan are all very powerful.

Taiwan is an emerging democracy ,  South Korea,  too

How alliance with Ideological Opposites makes sense

The most sensible way to make alliance is to make it with countries which share more in common with us political, economical and if possible cultural

Sometimes that is not possible

due to extraordinary circumstances

But it does not mean to discard an small country which is working to create a similar polis than

to join one whose ideology seeks to destroy our system

The only ally you can trust is the ally that depends on you.

Russia would not depend on us, and that would be an uneasy peace.
