Why does the U.S keep going after Iran?

Why do they have so much interest in Iran's business? Why do they keep pushing that Iran is a dangerous country? What's up with all of the American propoganda against Iran? What's up with them and their obsession with Iran?

The leaders of Iran have said that they want to develop nuclear weapons, and they want to use those weapons to destroy Israel.  Other Middle-Eastern countries are concerned that Iran will use nuclear weapons to dominate them.  Having Iran dominate the Middle-East could lead to massive oil shortages world-wide.  Any country in range of Iranian missiles has reason to be concerned. But other than that, I can't think why anyone would care about Iran's business.

Iran's unwarranted aggression in the area, the developement of nuclear weapons and the spread of terrorism all being controlled right now by an individual with about a 60 IQ. Iran is dangerous for many more people than Israeli's. Israel is just the target for right now.

dude, why does mahmoud ahmadinejad keep pushing our buttons? i'm not defending our foreign policy in the middle east, far from it. bush is... awful. there's no need to go into detail. but iran isn't exactly trying to calm him down. if iran thinks launching missiles and working on nukes is gonna get us to leave them alone, they just haven't been paying attention.

Well Iran seems to have an obsession with getting rid of the Jews and Americans, so we are just keeping an eye on them for safety purposes.

Just a little thing, but did you know that Iran pulled a swimmer out of competition because he would have had to swim in the same pool with an Israeli?  What kind of mentality is that?  

Of course, it means Iran's man is the automatic loser and has no chance at the Olympics.

So, what do you think they would do with nuclear power, if they got it?

Because Israel is a major ally of the U.S.  And (dang-you spellchecker)! - Achmadinejad has publicly stated that he wants to 'wipe Israel' and its' people off the map.'.

Now consider that, and that Iran has allies with China and Russia, we really don't want them - and by them I don't mean the Iranian people - just the nogood followers of his - to get their hands on anything dangerous, let alone Nuclear.

It'd be the death of all of us.  Mind you, I wish there was another way because I'm anti-war.  But they keep testing missiles, and goading the U.S.  and Israel.

It's Achmadinejad that really needs to go and his followers.  Iranians should really get rid of that guy..  Not the whole country of Iran.  Hopefully the leaders will see that, because I don't trust the Intelligence at this point, especially since Bush had his.

Iran is a threat to spread terrorism but they are not the only problem country over there.  Syria and Pakistan are also strong terrorist bases.  My biggest issue with the Middle East is that we keep solving their problems using our tax dollars.  They need to be told in the future that we get a share of the oil revenue until the cost of our defending them has been repaid!!!

Because Iran wants to blow up Israel!  Muslims hate Jews!!!!  They want they're city back and will stop at nothing to get it even if it means killing everyone.  The USA dumped all of the Jews into Muslim territories after WW2 and gave them  great military power in the middle east.  Personally, I wish everybody could just get along!  But there is some really stupid people out there.
