  1. The U.S usually give money to countries as loans, they then charge high interest rate, the country usually don't have money to pay them back so the U.S feels they are allowed to exploit there resources and labor.

some may ask why these countries except this money? I believe they are forced to through hegemonic type sanctions.

Israel receive the most from the U.S due to its strategic setting

  2. To most of these countries it's to control them .

  3. We support Israel, its welfare and  warfare 'WMD'

  4. Usually poorer, third-world countries receive aid (but not always).

It is supposed to be used for food and medical supplies, etc etc. But, this isn't always the case, such as the recent cyclone in Bangladesh, where much of the aid went to the military and not the people who really needed it.

This is not only the ethical thing to do (sitting around watching other countries suffer and not doing anything is a crappy thing to do), but it also improves America's image in these places, which is good for us. It may sound like we give a lot away, but really, it's not that much compared to other things we spend money on (such as defense spending).

  5. If you're really looking out for wasted money, you're looking in the wrong place.  Foreign aid achieves useful foreign policy goals and it doesn't amount to much.  The Pentagon flat-out LOSES more money than we give away!

  6. We elect some of the goofiest people to Congress and the presidency.  Giving away someone else's money is sinful.
