Why does the US government prosecute border guards instead of illegal alien drug smugglers?

The US government prosecuted 2 US border guards who shot an illegal alien drug smuggler in the butt. They caught him in a van full of pot. He started fighting with one of the agents then broke away and started running for the border, the agents thought they saw him point a gun, so they fired some shots. The US district attorney decided to go after the border patrol agents instead of the drug smuggler. He gave immunity to the drug smuggler, went to mexico to find him, and brought him back to the US to give him medical treatment so that he could testify against the agents. After he was given immunity he was caught again smuggling drugs into the US. This and other evidence was never heard at the trial. President Bush refuses the Pardon these agents but he has pardoned convicted drug dealers. Why would our government take the side of an illegal alien drug smuggler instead of our border patrol agents?

  1. I think there is a much larger thing going on here.... If we shut the border down like we (the populice) wants, then the rate and amount of police work will drop so much that we will have to let some cops go... or find something else for them to do other than chase drug dealers.

  2. I'll tell you why...four letters...ACLU

Illegals have more rights then we do.

  3. Compean and Ramos were sent to prison at the insistence of the Bush justice department. The mexican consulate put pressure on Bush to enforce charges against the drug dealer who clearly had a weapon but lost it in the desert. Seriously you have a million dollars in marijuana in your van and you dont have a weapon Gimme A break. Compean and Ramos should be freed and Johnny Sutton and the Bush justice dept should be thrown in jail.

    Yes that is my picture

  4. I've stopped frittin. It's all one big fiddle.

  5. Political correctness, ACLU, NAFTA just to name a few reasons.

  6. news and magazine-

  7. As a matter of principle and common sense no one, and I mean no one who deals with the cannabis plant and its bypodructs should be mistreated in any way, shape or form.

Cannabis is good, and anyone who brings it over should be welcome with open arms.

    Thank you.

  8. Because they have to obey laws too and that includes not abusing their power.

  9. Our politicians aren't interested in halting illegal immigration.

Remember the furor that was created a year ago when the information on illegals was broadcast. The American public was up in arms (still are) and the pols backed down.

Well the pols are getting their way subtly, by approving for example, farm bills, OKing illegals. They think its died down and we're putting it on the back burner.

    Don't let them do it.

This is our country d**n it, not theirs. Not corporations either.

When a corporation is sued who goes to jail? The corporate charter?

  10. Let's see - Can you say "Railroad" - or "Bush is a freakin A.H."?  Tell anyone the story - as I have done many times, and they think you're making it up.  Why would "we" send investigators into Mexico to find the convicted drug smuggler, give him full immunity, treat his wound, open the door for a massive law suit (he is asking 5 million for violating his "rights"), encourage this scumbag  to lie on the stand, and coerce the jury to find them guilty (some of the jurors have sworn under oath that they were coerced behind the scenes – can you say jury tampering?)

This is so ludicrous that even “Law and Order” would take a pass!  King Bush (the guy who uses the Constitution as T.P.) would rather keep Mexico happy, keep his pockets lined with oil profits, and s***w the American people.  Daddy started ruining the economy, and Jr. is simply finishing the job.
