Why does the United States insists on building a missle defense system in Euorpe?

.. We say its protect them from rogue nations like Iran. Are you frig gin' kidding me?.. Iran? Iran knows well that if it launched any type of long range missile to Europe, Iran itself will become a parking lot. As an American, I agree with Russia. It is soley aimed at the there missile force, and don't blame Russia, if it invade Poland or any other European country that assist. What do you think?

They really don't say it but it is really is just a strategic launch point in case all out war does break out against russia. That is what i beleive.

I think you're an idiot.  The idea that 10 interceptors could stop 10,000 Russian ICBMS ( which incidently wouldn't be flying over Poland to hit the US anyway ) is nothing short of total stupidity.

Further, you can't apply the concept of MAD to people like the Iranians.  Remember, these are the people who strap bombs on themselves and go off looking for a bus.  If they get a nuke, there's a fair chance they'll use it and consider anybody that dies a martyr.

I think you're just trying to provide a pre-emptive excuse for the next country Russia tries to rape and pillage.  However, Poland is a member of NATO.. invading it results in nuclear war.  The Russians may be bloodthirsty, but they're not suicidal.
