  1. Well  |14 - 8| = 6

    --- and |-3| = 3

    So you have 6 / 3....which comes out to 2.

  2. The absolute value is the value without signs.

    14-8= 6 absolute value 6

    l-3l        absolute value 3

    6/3 =2

  3. = |14 - 8|/|- 3| Absolute |- 3| = 3

    = 6/3

    = 2

    Answer: 2

  4. 14-8 = 6 which is already the absolute value so

    6/ abs of -3 is 3

    6/3 = 2

  5. The absolute value of a negative number is positive. It represents the distance traveled on the number line. Thus 2 and -2 both have a distance of two from zero.
