  1. Because all they look at is which party will give the more welfare.

Most does not have the proper education to understand what is happening to them. They listern to the hype.

  2. That's all they know.  Like Charles Barkley said, "Poor Black people have been voting for Democrats for 50 years, and they're still poor.

  3. You need to learn history.  Since the time of Roosevelt, it has been the Democrats who have championed Civil Rights and the Republicans who have opposed them.

Barry Goldwater, the 1964 Republican Presidential nominee, voted against the Civil Rights Act of the same year.

When Lyndon Johnson signed that same law in effect, he said "We have just lost the South for a generation," and he was right.  Republicans have used the racial problems in the South to build their power base there.

  4. Because the democrats promise them free stuff.

  5. Blacks tend to be liberals. The Republicans are moving further and further Right... why would we vote for McCain?  AND, Palin is a TERRIBLE pick for VP.    He'd have been much better with Ridge OR Pawlenty OR Romney.

  6. One hundred fifty years ago that was true

    Today that is not

Why do some republicans and most Neocons tend to live in the past is a mystery not even known to them.  Because anyone with any amount of intelligence can see through it.

AKA -- we are so dumb.  We elected a divider not once, but twice who got us into two budget busting wars.

You want more of the same?  Vote McCain.

    Peace

    Jim

  7. Considering the Democratic Party just nominated a black man to run on its ticket for President, maybe you can take a wild guess as to the answer to this question.......actions speak louder than words and the past be damned.

The party of Lincoln is unrecognizable from its origins these days. There has effectively been a complete 180 degree turn for them. So, while historically the Democrats were the party of obstructions regarding the Black population, the last fifty years has allowed them to grow into a mature, welcoming, and predominantly honest political network. The same cannot be said of Republicanism.

  8. You are in the past and we a looking at the future. If we all lived in the past we would never accomplish anything. Please don't insult my intelligence by saying that I vote for someone because of their party. I vote by what I believe in and I am d**n sure glad that I did not vote for Bush. Can you say the same?

  9. The promise of more welfare as Obama has already made clear.

  10. They buy into the BS that has been fed to them by Democrats over the years.  They are products of our failed public school systems.  Theoretically, black people should have varying political views, just like whites or any other group.

There are not enough Laotian voters in the US to matter to Democrats, so the Dems do not create a special class for them and buy their votes with promises.

  11. I have no Idea why Blacks gravitate to the Democratic party. The democrats always smile in there faces and stab them in the back. That's one of the reasons we still have  racism in our country.

  12. Because the Democratic party cares more about black interests than the Republican party does TODAY.

And that is the correct answer whether you like it or not.
