  1. Well, only a few cheese kinds have holes - here a link to the most famous Emmentaler cheese suppliers and their explanation...

    BTW: cheese is sold by weight, so the holes do not have any influence on the price

  7. not all swiss cheese has holes, the most common and know is the emmentaler. The holes are caused by air bubbles.

  8. Most kinds of Swiss cheese actually DON'T have any holes!

  9. Sorry to tell tou that only Emmenthaler cheese has big holes.. None on the other kind.
