Why does the cheese in switzerland?

do the swiss like to eat wind like us?

Nooooooo !!   They are air bubbles caused by the fermentation process.

not all swiss cheese has holes, the most common and know is the emmentaler. The holes are caused by air bubbles.

Sorry to tell tou that only Emmenthaler cheese has big holes.. None on the other kind.
