Why does the driver never get sick or nauseous if they're driving badly but the passengers do?

  1. When driving your focusing on the road and you know what turns are coming up. The passengers are sometimes doing other things like text messaging, reading or just not paying full attention.

    I'm a passenger on a 2 hour trip every weekend (heading to holiday home) and most times I get carsick unless I am focusing on something like listening to the football. It's kinda weird and hard to explain why actually, good question!


  2. I get carsick even when i'm driving...that's how cool i am! haha But i think it has to do with the motion. When you are in control it feels different and it's easier for you to anticipate the movements so you dont get sick.
