Why does the filter (recent/no. of ans.) not work properly?

I often sort the questions by number of answers (0 at top) and then click on a question only to find out it has several answers (not recent ones either). This is messed up. The programmers (coders) need to spend about 20 minutes and fix this.

Don't know.  I've experienced this as well.
