Why does the food at college dining halls taste so bad?

Any time food is mass produced, it's going to be bad. It's usually the cheapest stock off of the Sysco, United Foods trucks and made with minimal spices. The people making it just want to get through their shift and get the food done in time. It's a challenge just getting that done.

You could be eating worse, so be thankful for what you get.

Why are you such a d**n whiner? Get used to the dang food. Plus thats just a figure of speech... "school food tastes bad."

The food at my school's dining hall is usually very good, except for the scrambled eggs.  However, I am a vegetarian and don't eat any of the meals that have meat in them.  If you don't like the food, go for the salad bar.
